God is About to Release the Wailing Prophets

wailing-prophetsI awoke early this morning at about 4 am to the words in my spirit “I am releasing the wailing prophets.” As soon as I heard the words, I dozed back off. It seemed strange to be hearing those words because prior to this point, I didn’t know anything about the wailing prophets. All I knew was that the bible says that in the last days, there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth. So naturally, I believed that the wailing prophets were prophets of the end time who would go around weeping and wailing and warning people to repent because the coming of the Lord was close.

Upon awakening, I decided to conduct some research to find out who the wailing prophets were. So, I googled it and was somewhat surprised to learn that the book of Revelation in the bible speaks about the two witnesses who would be prophets of the end time. These two prophets will be released just after the rapture and they would go around warning the people who are left back on earth and telling them to repent. The story is told in Revelations chapter 11. Verses 1 – 7 state

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple, leave out, and measure it not: for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two live trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

So these two prophets were whom I was hearing about when I heard the words about the wailing prophets in my spirit. But what is the significance of these two witnesses? Well, to begin with, they signify that the end of the world as we know it is close. Because these two wailing prophets will not be released until the end times, exactly 3 1/2 years before the AntiChrist is unleashed into the earth. So once these prophets are released, it is an indication that the Lord’s second coming is very close. Based on what I heard in the spirit, I believe that the Lord is getting ready to come back for His bride.

There is some amount of controversy about who the two witnesses actually are. Some believe that they are Elijah and Moses, some say Elijah and Enoch. Some believe that the two witnesses are actually different prophets from the two houses of Israel – those from the tribe of Ephraim, and those from the house of Judah. Those who believe this also believe that the 144,000 mentioned in Revelations are actually the “two witnesses”. We don’t know for certain who the two witnesses are but we know that once they are released, the tribulation period is about to start.

What I heard in my spirit is confirmed by other actual events that are taking place in the world right now. One such very notable event is the erection of the temple of Baal (called the Arch of Triumph) in New York city on September 19, 2016. If that is not an indication of the end times then nothing is. The original Baal temple was associated with much violence and bloodshed. Since the temple has been erected, there has been an outbreak of violence across America that cannot be ignored. There have been a series of terror attacks in New York, New Jersey, Minnesota and also riots in Charlotte. This is not a coincidence and God is not pleased with what is happening. The bible does indicate that in the end times there would be wars and rumors of wars and that satan would seek to set himself up as God.

Brothers and sisters, Christ’s return is so close. We need to ensure that we are ready. The great news is that believers won’t have to go through the tribulation because we will be raptured out before that time. But it is imperative that we pray for those persons who have not yet given their lives to Jesus Christ. Because if they don’t repent and serve God, they will have to go through the tribulation. That is not something I would want to happen to anyone and I too will be playing my part in bringing people to Christ in these last days. Let us keep watching and praying and encouraging each other even more now as we see the day approaching.
